Opportunity Details
Overdose Lifeline Volunteer Kit Packing
Volunteers will assist with the assembly of naloxone kits and test strips. Naloxone kits require assembly before they are sent out because we do not only include the naloxone – we include instructions, referral to resources/treatment, how to perform rescue breathing (an essential component of overdose response), and civil protections for administering naloxone. All volunteers with us will serve in this role – no special skills are required. This task does not require heavy physical labor; we provide all materials at each table and volunteers can do everything while sitting and socializing with friends and table mates.
